The Esther Centre for Women’s Health was set up by Mr. Olumide Ofinran with the aim of providing high-quality, personalised care for women at every stage of their health journey. Named in honour of his late mother, Reverend (Dr.) Funmi Esther Ofinran, the centre reflects his deep commitment to offering compassionate and expert gynaecological services. Recognising the need for accessible women’s healthcare across multiple locations, Mr. Ofinran created the centre to empower women with the knowledge and support they need to make informed health decisions, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

The Esther Centre for Women’s Health was founded in memory of Reverend (Dr.) Ofinran, whose life was a testament to compassion, empowerment, and service. She was a banker, an economist, a theologian and a pastor who achieved the highest levels in her career, but her true calling was in the ministry and philanthropy. She dedicated her life to empowering others, helping widows, motherless children, and those in need by giving her time, energy, and resources.

Her journey was deeply personal, as she faced her own struggles with infertility. Mr. Ofinran was her only biological child, but she raised many others with the same love and commitment. Growing up surrounded by those she cared for and fostered, Mr. Ofinran witnessed the strength and resilience of women, which ignited his passion for gynaecology from an early age.

Mr. Ofinran made a promise to dedicate his life to understanding women’s health struggles and that promise has shaped his professional path. The Esther Centre for Women’s Health is not just a clinic; it reflects his calling to provide the highest quality of care in women’s health and to continue his mother’s legacy of unwavering devotion to helping others.
